The thread on buried INFI brought to mind the grab bag. In one of the early Ganzaaaas Jerry offered a PVC tube with no hint of what was in it, at a price of $300.
I told my wife that I was willing to bet on Jerry Busse, and she said go for it. (Yeah, I got a good'n.)
A few more hogs bought in also, four or five I think.
Eventually a long, capped piece of PVC arrived, and inside was a straight-handled battle mistress in Desert
Tan! I think that most of them were serrated, but mine was not, which suited me fine as I am not a fan of serrations. Maybe some of the other lucky ones will chime in and post a picture, since my PC has died and
I am using the wife's laptop.

Jerry is so sneaky :)

And I agree - Jerry is always a good one to bet on:thumbup:

Wow! That's awesome!

I love all the fun giveaways the crew comes up with!

I wish they would bring them back as I never knew they did a such thing, I would gladly jump on a grab bag:D

That was what I was trying to reference in one of my posts.

I forgot they originally came to the house, because I now remember cutting the pipe off with a hacksaw in the garage like a crazy man with my wife wondering what the heck was going on, and that the last place I remember seeing my desert SHBM was at Blade that year.

Gave a porker a heck of a deal IIRC...;)

Thanks for clearing up the ol' memory drive Mike!!!

pretty good deal for 300$ if I remember the grab bag price correctly.
