Excerpted from newspaper article ( McClatchy )

" But in the minds of many Greeks, such details are minor. Did you eat well, they ask. Did you dance, they inquire. Did you drink, stay up late, do things you weren't supposed to do and laugh a lot?

" These are the things that count, " said Mihalis Raptis, 58, who runs a fruit stand in busy Syntagma Square...

Thought I'd post the above. Can't remember the years since I last cut a piece out of a newspaper and tucked it in my wallet. This seemed worth remembering.

So very true guys.

Here's another along those lines, sort of! I wish I had come up with it but I found it, somewhere.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW-- What a Ride!!!" (Author unknown)

Opa!
Greeks know how to enjoy life.
I hope my electrician brought back that Ouzo he said he was going to. He just came back from the Olympics. :D

:D I like it.
My 5-week-old son is already hip to the eating well and staying up late part... ;)

"I've done that twice.
But, I didnt feel right, I didnt love them, so I didnt do it."

You know, Danny, that's normally "guy-speak" for "Her boyfriend/husband was a bigger, badder dude than myself."...or in your case, ninja:)

I use the quote above on another board, as my sig line. Don't remember where I found it, or who wrote it either.

"What's love got to do with it?" - Tina Turner

Tina Turner might have been on to something; Muladhara is not Anahata and vice versa. Try to sneeze and keep your eyes open simultaneously. ;)
