My girlfriend and I have spent the last 14 days in Ireland on R&R leave. We're understandably a little reluctant to head back, but we've had an incredible time. I thought y'all might enjoy seeing some of the pictures I've posted from the last two weeks. They're the most recent 25 or so pictures here.

Take Care,

John

Nice cat, dude. Ireland is second to none in terms of the spectacular geological strata formations, from what I have seen (my sister is obsessed with Ireland), and the odds of finding a four leaf clover are curiously in ones favor whenever the person in question is in Ireland (kidding...at least I think I am...?). Hope you and your girl had a blast. Peace.

Great to hear you had a wonderful time, John.

Few deserve it more.

now...

Glad you got to see it, john:)
Ireland is the most gorgeous place I've ever seen. Its a special place to me as my late father in law 's final wish was to have his ashes spread there (he was Irish inasmuch as his last name was McCormick and his family came from there some 100+ years ago).
He left some money to send my wife, her brother and his wife, my mother in law and myself there to see the country he had visited 4 times in his life.

Pictures and movies do the isle no justice. There are misty mountains so stark and crisp with tops masked in clouds that it looks like God himself got 4/5 the way through a breath taking painting only to stop and have a pint himself.

Seeing Ireland again is on my bucket list. I've never experienced something so beautiful in all my life.

We have had an incredible time. I'll write up my impressions when I get back. Our last dinner was delicious, and accompanied by a young Irish singer belting out US country classics, and some songs that she made country! I really enjoyed it.

Highly suggested if any of you have the time and resources to visit.

...and I'm back in RC North, at Camp Marmal. But significantly de-stressed. :)

...and that's a very good thing.

And you can hold your newly-Irish blarney in reserve, for when you really need it.:)
