When I first got my BH#, besides being stoked, I felt a little regret that it took me so long to find this wonderful world and I couldn't get in more on the ground floor (like in the first 100 Beckerheads). Then I stumbled through the old ghost town of the ESEE forum and saw that they were up to like 800 Rats before they ended up shutting down! Do youguys think we'll all look back to the good old days when there were only a couple hundred of us? (Not that growth is bad)

Were they around for that much longer that they collected that many more members or was there just a rampant bout of fanboys jumping on their wagon? Not to insult the Rats, from reading through their old forum they seemed like a great group, I know there's a few BH's who still fly their Rat colors. I actually just bought an ESEE 4 so I am in no way an ESEE hater. Either way I still feel very lucky to be a part of this great group, this is the first place I check when I log on to BF and I often don't find my way into the rest of the forum on many visits.

BTW, I noticed they all had cool badges...just sayin.

I wasnt around when the esee forum here was going but I know the BH's are growing fast.

The rat pack is up over 1098 members now...they didn't shut down they just relocated to their own village..... Still going strong.

Little different "dynamic" around here ...

For example: This companies' namesake actually LIKES his knives (LOL)

the good old day..........HMMM

on the Esee part, IMO the reason there is such a huge number of the ratpack is because they make a damn awesome knife.
Same with Becker and BeckerHead numbers are growing daily...

i remember the good old days of single digits :)

Esee is good. Just most are too blocky for me that's all. Otherwise they make good stuff.

I'm fairly new round here too.
