Looks like a good start. Yer gonna want a grass machete and a Heavy Warthog plus a bunch more beckers.

Haven't got to use them yet. Still cold here and not much outdoors going on yet. I will tell you it's one heavy son of a gun.
I'm looking into a grass machete and other Beckers, thanks for the comments!

My large heavy bowie is nice but it's a lot lighter than the others in the chopper line. The flat grind is nice and sharp but makes it too light for a knife that size to be able to chop, too short for machete tasks, and too big for fine controlled cutting. Right now I have it pegged as a darn fine camp knife though, until I get a little more time with it.

I"m inclined to agree with you at that. I love my LHB because I use it hard, so I know that it's reliable but I've always felt that it falls just a little short in every aspect. I'd like to see a "Large Heavy Bowie XL" with +2 inches, maybe that would do the trick.

thanks for all the comments everyone. I can't wait to take them out on a camping trip this spring.

Purdy. I like seeing side by side photos for reference. The BK3 is smaller than I imagined, still a beast though. May be the next on my list.

Yes, it is smaller than I thought too. But don't let size fool you..... it's a heavy duty monster.

I can agree with that notion, maybe slightly thicker to add a little mass. The cutlass machete is a beast and I was expecting something similar to that.

Darn now I wish I got the leather handled USMC instead of the Kraton grip.

Nice collection, not sure why but this place makes people buy stuff...... myself included. lol
