"HACK" stands for "HOG Apprentice Custom Knives". . . . Yes, it's the return of the Busse apprentice series. . . . There should be quite a few different "One-Time-Only" models offered and not all of them will be made of INFI. . . This particular model is INFI however.

I designed this knife for my daughter Katie . . . Once I finished it, everyone in the shop wanted one, So, here it is for everyone to have a shot at. We call it the Bear Cub. . .

The HACK series of knives has been designed for training our apprentice custom knife grinding team. The prices of these will not reflect their true custom nature. . . . In other words. . . you should be pleasantly surpised by the affordable pricing!!

The Serial Numbered Limited Edition will feature the fossilized mammoth ivory handles. . . .These will be very limited as we have a very limited supply of this rare handle material! ! ! !

Here are the pics!!

Oh, and here's the biggest surprise of all. . . This the HACK Bear Cub next to a Game Warden!!!!. . . .

The HACK Bear Cub has an overall length of 5 1/2" ! ! ! !. . . . It is an unbelievably handy little knife!!!

These are going up after the NMFBM. . . In other words. . . .Very soon!!!!

Sweet! The size is what sold me. I may have to pick one up for every large Busse that I have. They look like the perfect piggy-back blade.

Would it be possible to get a comparison shot of it and a ASH-1?

Very cool Jerry. Exactly what does it take to be an apprentice at Busse? I'd like to get my application in. :D

Hahaha, what a trip! It looked so much bigger. The mammoth scales...

This is totallty awsome, well worth all the wait.
BTW, I knew it would be.
Great job BOSS.

Yeah!

I am going to scale the image shortly.

I have really been wanting an AD or a leaner meaner. This looks like just the ticket. I am stoked!

ETA: ok I fired up my sketch software and applied the photometrics. The sharpened edge is 2.7" and the blade is an even 3.0" from tip to "hilt" (edge of scale)

ETA II: I just wish the "HACK" lettering wasn't all jacked. Aside from that, this is a perfect blade.

All those handles with pins look like a Busse River Knife and Tools gallery.

I'm diggin how small it is. Trying to figure out how easy it is to hold. How many fingers can you get on the handle?

Here are a couple of more pics. . .

Here's the HACK Bear Cub on top of a Fusion Battle Mistress!!!!

Need another size comparison pic. How about putting it next to the NMFBM:D.

Edit: Arghh - Jerry snuck a few pics in on me. I can see I'm going to need one or three of these.

Those are super sweet!!!!!!!!! I love the size !!

With an affordable price I'll be grabbing at least 3 !!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::D

OK, Boss... Now show us a pic of one in YOUR hand!! :D

I'm wondering about the size of the handle, and how many fingers I can fit on it, myself...

...But my nuclear teddy bear has been bugging me for some INFI, so I guess I'll get at least one for him... ;)

The Graham Bros. Super Stubby Spearpoint that he's holding in this pic is almost exactly 5.5"... Actually it's a tiny bit longer than that.

Interesting...! :)
