Well, it's that time of year again and I've quickly built up a small collection of hunting knives. Maxed out on this display case - have to get another! The "Halbie Hunters" are:

Left to Right:

Gary LeBlanc Little Elmer Skinner (ATS-34, Amboyna Burl);
Keith Ouye Clip Point Hunter (ATS-34, Micarta);
Fallkniven TK1 (3G lam, Cocobolo);
Canal Street D'Alton Holder Bowie (19c27 Sandvik, Buffalo Horn);
BRKT Boone II (52100, Amboyna Burl);
Mike Carter Drop Point Hunter (Alabama Damascus, Amboyna)

Bottom: Fallkniven NL3 Njord (VG10 lam, leather)

I think my favorite from that batch is the bottom one.

How does the Carter feel in the hand?
I have an Uncle Henry Bowie with a squared up handle like that and it is hard to get used to.

It's a little different, but actually quite comfortable. No doubt, it will depend a lot on your hand.

The FK NL3 is definitely my "go to" knife for general hunting needs, though.

Nice collection!:thumbup:

My favorite is the Canal Street D'Alton
