Just received a new Hunter from Jerry.

This is one very well balanced knife that just packs a whole lot of blade into a small package. I am truly amazed at how Jerry can do this. As Jerry says, you can really get a purchase on this handle when you put it in your hand and start working with it.

The pictures dont begin to do credit to the amber stag that Jerry has used on this guy. The coloration is something else.

The knife is 4" closed with CPM steel.

Fit and finish are perfect. Everything built to extremely tight tolerances and it just works so well.

Congrats. That's a fine lookin' knife.

That's a dandy Halfrich ya got there...very handsome indeed.

That looks great. I really like that pattern and that stag is just killer. I'm sure it's sharp as the dickens as well.

Congrats Rick.

Great looking hunter! I've gotta see a Halfrich up close!. . . . . . . . Saaayyyy . . . . . . . . Nawwww, just a thought!
Congratulations!!

Thats a beauty.... Great size too.
Seems like a lot of the hunters are either to small or way to big.

Rick,
What a fine score, looks as if that baby will walk the talk.
BTW: Are you and Kerry wearing or using the same jeans?
Jim

Jim - these are in fact loaner jeans from Kerry. I have him send them out before i take any photos. Kind of a lucky picture thing i have going - however, will assure you i am not wearing the loaners!!! ;)

Darwin - has a good strong pull but not overly tight. The way the blade sits in the trough allows me to grab the blade versus using the nail.

Thats a beauty. Jerry will probably have a few of these at Blade. Bet they go fast.

As others have said already folding hunters can typically be a size too big or a size too small, 4 inches closed is dead nuts on for me. And if that is cpm 154 you have got some serious cutt'n steel to work for you.. One helluva user you have got their 1200S

Rick, I got tired of not being on Jerry's list so I just dropped him a message. I'm going to really try and challenge him with something (and of course I'm sure he can meet the challenge).

Rick,

I see what you mean about Halfrich knives! Congratulations on that one.
