Rod doesn't have time to make a model. Can someone in the USA make a model of the hanshee for us?
 
We have color pictures with the original next to a ruler. Would that be enough to get the ball rolling ?

I fear we will probably need a model.
 
To elaborate on the reason for Uncle Bill's insistence on a model, I've done some digging throught the archives and found threads regarding past attempts to get specials done with blueprints and descriptions. They never turned out right because the kamis don't have any concept of what a blueprint is. They can't translate the 2-D image into a 3-D object. If you give them a detailed model though, they will reproduce it down the the smallest detail. While making the model for the YCS Yvsa forgot to put an inlay on one of the tools. Sure enough the first YCS back from Birghorka was missing the same inlay on the same tool. Just wanted to let you all know where Uncle Bill is coming from if you haven't seen the old threads regarding special projects and models. I'd love to see this get off the ground too, I wanted to sign up but can't provide the funds so I just watched.
 
You know, I never did find out how much this Hanshee would cost. Do you guys know how much it'll be?

Even if the price is right, and if I have the desire to own one, I will only commit if I'm sure that the kamis will make the hanshee exactly to specs, including the type of bolster material, the style of the bolster, the horn handle, the weight, everything. It seems like a lot to ask, but I'm sure nobody here wants to pay in advance for something that doesn't turn out to be what they expected.
 
I have been gone for some time from this forum. Just took a peak again and discovered this thread. Can I join the list of buyers for a hanshee too? It is one of my dreams.

But I would like to know more about the specs on it first before I join the list. And the price too.

A hanshee is supposed to be a light weapon. It would not be interesting if it becomes heavy. And it would not be interesting if the final product is very different from the model.

And while I am here posting, can anyone tell me what the status is on Uncle Bill´s health at the moment? And if the business is running 50 or 100% at the moment.
