Finally got a decent pic that came out unfuzzy(sort of). These are two of my favorite custom folders. The maker is Don Hanson III. Those of you who know Don, understand how nice these are. Those who dont know Don's work, need to go to a show and check it out! The bigger one I waited over 5 years for, and have already been offered twice what I paid for it by a purveyor/dealer. No, it's not for sale yet.

The smaller one is my Christmas present to myself this year. Since the only knives I got from friends and relatives this year are marked Jaguar and China, this helps ease the pain.

Both knives have damascus blades of all high carbon tool steels. O1/L6, to be precise. The big, slim trapper has random pattern, and the small one has a super tight twist pattern. Both have killer pearl, but the big one has pearl as nice as anything I have seen. I need somebody who knows what they are doing, take better pics of these 2. This crappy pic does not do the knives justice!

You dog you. I am sure those are beautiful in looks and function.

Looks to me like you need to talk to Coop or Phil. ;) (real quick :D)

Nice ones Dan. You gotta bring 'em to Blade so I can get my grubby hands on 'em :).

Don (The Sunfish Man) Hanson III is without a doubt one of the top custom makers. Nice knives ya got there!!! I even like his tang stamp too.
