Well, the 15" Sirupati from one of The Kamis With No Name arrived at it's new home in The Mountain State yesterday. I am quite pleased, Uncle Bill. Superglued the crack, buffed out the handle and applied Ballistol, did my usual "polish everything metal with Simichrome" number, tuned up the karda and chakma... lookin' GOOD!
All three members of my little Family Sirupati have seperate and very distinct personalities:
12" Durba "Little One" - wickedly sharp and very fast, the little viper that nails you before you know it and disappears before you can strike back.
15" KWNN "Middle Child" - sturdy, well balanced...appears to be a chopper way out of character for it's size and configuration. Research will tell...uh oh, do you suppose that Jim heard that "R" word?
20" Village khukuri "Snake" (thanks again Terry!) - way faster than one would think...definately adds the word "range" to the equation.
They are all resting in their room at the moment...
