The hard one to find.

It seems like in some series and sets, be it Schrade or Camillus, there are Kazillions of knives made in some series.... then there is always one that is extremely hard to find.
I guess it's all in what sells at the time that determines production, but sometimes I wonder...............................

G'Day, I guess your going to post a photo or follow up post, however I get your drift. I believe some of the knives that I have obtained since the Schrade closure would never have been available to me in normal times,e.g. stag versions of the popular fixed blades and folders. Some protos or lunch time knock-ups call them what you will they are still from the Ellenville factory. My point is they would have been more than hard to find more like non existant. The Schrade Kious and the Rogers Custom changers without the pin cracks would have to be considered thin on the ground.I have spent considerably more than I anticipated on some rarer Schrades because who knows when you will ever see another ,once they're locked up in collections.
The closure was a tragedy for all concerned but I feel privileged to not only obtain these knives but actually have then in Oz.
You only get one chance by normal circumstances to obtain the knife you desire... then worry like hell where to find the money and explain to the missus why it was absolutely essential. What do others feel? Hoo Roo

I know this is mentioned in the Camillus thread but I am in the same boat. I'm trying VERY hard to be good financially, but I see these BKs that everyone is snapping up. Even some of the BSA line and a few Westerns appeal to me. But I gotta be good, I gotta be good, I gotta be good. Sorry, just venting a little. Anyone want to donate a BK10 Crewman to such a good guy?:)

Sorry Eyegor but I don't have a BK-10.............yet. I just ordered it yesterday. :D :D

This is my favorite Camillus in my collection. Keep your eyes open for one.
