Sorry no pics...none of them look right.

The Harpy is fantastic. 8th model Spyderco ever made. Everyone should own at least one. I'll throw up a few pics for ya soon. :)

Cool...thanks I didnt know that gonna have to tell him that. Looking forward to your pictures.

The harpie's my exclusive rafting kayaking carry.

I was rafting down the skykomish river with a buddy. We climbed atop a log jam. They get huge, this was about eight feet above water level. I had my Harpie out cutting paracord. I closed it and jumped across a 2' gap and dropped my Harpie. "Nooooo" I made sure to watch it all the way down. I thought I saw exactly where it hit and bounced to. Ha! I spent 3hrs crawling around under logs with my buddy. Found it though. Totally worth it.

I'm a serious Hawkbill fanatic and the Harpy is my all time favorite>> I so much wish they would bring back the G-10 Harpy. I EDCed one for over 5 years and it got stolen or lost. The stainless handled unit isn't bad but I did like the G-10 Harpy better.

The Harpy is so much more ridgid than the TASMAN which I also like but I feel a lot more confident using the Harpy on rough jobs. The Spyderhawk which is a big, big Brother of the Harpy is a great Hawkbill too but it is mainly for heavy cutting jobs. MOst of the time I carry my Harpy as a companion blade to what I normally EDC>> this week my main folder has been my G-10 Ayoob model.

For pull cutting a Spyderedged Harpy is superb. There is a reason that the Harpy has been in the main line up as long as it has just like the POLICE, Military, Endura and Delica models>> it is an iconic model that I hope Spyderco will keep for years to come.

The Harpy has been on my 'have to get list' for some time now. Added one a few times to my basket only to remove it before checkout. If the Harpy ever comes back in G10 or CF I will buy it immediately.

Yeah I would go even for a Carbon Fiber Harpy as well>> I had one of the early CF models in both SE & PE but had expenses that mandated me to sell both of them. A "peel ply" carbon fiber handle on a Harpy would be the "cat's meow". But I am not giving up on the resurrection of the G-10 handled Harpy because I'm sure if they brought it back in a Sprint run it would sell out in very short order.

I've even had thoughts of what a titanium handled Harpy would be like. The stainless handled model isn't bad and is very ridgid but it does tend to get a little bit slick when wet whereas the G-10 handle remains grippy when wet. And for a knife that is target marketed to the fishing industry I find it strange that Spyderco hasn't offered it in more handle selections.

Nice knife, but it may not be brought back since it was deep discounted to $50 due to poor sales. I got mine as a closeout from SMKW. Still have it today. After the deep discount sale, it was being resold at gun shows for a number of years, but they're all gone now. It took awhile for the later carbon fiber Harpies (sprint one?) to sell out as well.

The Harpy was my first Spyderco which I bought in early 1990. Read about Spyderco in now long gone Fighting Knives magazine. The Harpy is a great EDC and wish Spyderco would bring back a G10 version.

Like JD said, I wish they bring back the G-10 Harpy. Stainless steel handle isn't bad but I find it heavy and slippery.

I really want one serrated and in G-10.
