It was -11 this morning, but with the help of The "Hatchling", I got 'er done!
I figure she's good for about 2 cords a day.
Think I'll go get breakfast now.

After chopping 2 cords of wood with his "Hatchling" Karl was a mighty thirsty and picked up the Mississisip and drank half the river in one gulp. With his thirst slaked Karl hopped on the back of Blue and rode to Colorady where he helped them railroad people make tunnels by punching holes in the mountain where they couldn't blast the rock.

:D

I think you have him mistaken for Chuck Norris.

Karl Bunyon could whoop Chuck Norris any day....

What you don't realize is that the axe in his hand is really a full sized axe.

Looks good Karl, but if you'd double the handle length you'd probably double the cord count per day. With this cold front you'd better get busy, that little piles not going to last to long. :)

"But Mr. Rosen said that when he approached the fish he heard it uttering warnings and commands in Hebrew.

''It said 'Tzaruch shemirah' and 'Hasof bah,' '' he said, ''which essentially means that everyone needs to account for themselves because the end is near.''

The fish commanded Mr. Rosen to pray and to study the Torah and identified itself as the soul of a local Hasidic man who died last year, childless. The man often bought carp at the shop for the Sabbath meals of poorer village residents.

Mr. Rosen panicked and tried to kill the fish with a machete-size knife. But the fish bucked so wildly that Mr. Rosen wound up cutting his own thumb and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The fish flopped off the counter and back into the carp box and was butchered by Mr. Nivelo and sold."

David, thank you!:D
Gives a whole other meaning to the title of this thread
