Yes indeed the HAWK has landed. Well I finally got me one of brother Clovisc's brainchild blades and that is the H-1 SE Spyderhawk.

I've had several of the original VG-10 versions but this new, yellow handled H-1 Spyderhawk is already my favorite hard use Hawkbill and I haven't even used it yet  :D

But this Hawkbill is truly a hard work beast if I've ever seen one. This is even better than I thought it would be>> and I thought it was going to be good. But I can see many jobs that were a bit tough for my G-10 Harpy but this H-1 Spyderhawk is the current king of Spyderco Hawkbills.

I really want to thank Sal Glesser and the great staff at Spyderco for doing this one. And I truly hope that this blade is a huge seller for them ( as it darn well should be":thumbup:).

This will probably be my EDC Hawkbill before spring time gets here. This is a worker's dream. For all you good folks out there that don't have a Spyderco Hawkbill. Then I recommend you either get one of these or a Harpy.

The H-1 line is truly getting impressive!!

The only problem with the Spyderhawk is that it's given me very little reason to carry my Tasman any more. The little one's getting jealous.

I know exactly what you mean "randomlooker" :D My G-10 Harpy is already exhibiting fits of irrational behavior over this new arrival :D

What I really like about this new Spyderhawk having a yellow handle is that it's absolutely people friendly. I've had a lot of people say crap about my black handled G-10 Harpy but I've never had anyone make any kind of negative comment about my yellow handled Tasman Salt.

Same exact knife but just a different color handle. That goes goes to show you how baseless and irrational people's unfounded fears are.
