The Hayes Hawk, designed by ABS Mastersmith Wally Hayes, is the consummate "Battle" Tomahawk, blending design features from Eastern tradition and Viking legend.

The graceful lines, Tanto-inspired spike, long beard, and flowing dimensions result in our most sophisticated Tomahawk to date.
01 Tool Steel and Acetal...a tested and proven marriage.

The "Tsuka" styled handle, peaked and patterned like a fine sword, feels TREMENDOUS in the hand.

The cutting geometry is our most efficient yet...a smooth convex taper, RIGHT out to the edge and spike from the eye. The Hayes Hawk is fast, furious, ferocious, and to the enemy, fatal.

While incredibly elegant, it is purpose driven...and that purpose is evident.

The Hayes Hawk will slice, shred, chop and devistate whatever you swing her toward. We have tested it and "impressive" understates its capability.

We do NOT however, recommend you make her airborne...it wasn't built for that, period. Can it be thrown, sure. Will it stick and give you pleasure...more than anything. However, the long beard, handle style, and general symmetry were NOT made for throwing. So, in short, we ask that you don't...unless you absolutely have to! :D

The 1st Production Run Hayes Hawk will be in stock VERY SOON at 1SKS, 2theHilt, and en route to customers that ordered directly this coming week.

She's $345 and worth more, hands down.

Wally will be receiving the Ltd. Edition Hayes Hawks for hand wrapping late next week. They will be en route to him Monday.

Expect an update to AmericanTomahawk.com next week as well.

Enjoy!!!

...forgot to post some dimensions.

Cutting Edge is 4"
Edge to Spike is 8"
Overall Handle Length is 16"

...will post the weight when we weigh it...we just assembled them today! :D

The included sheath is a Baldric style...by Survival Sheath Systems...1" web sling on concealex, worn over the shoulder, and the Hawk pulls down, just like their Shoudler Rig. Awesome!
