I have a balisong I'd like to sell you. I won't tell you anything about it except that it's a balisong. But, if you send me $150, I'll send you the knife. Deal? I didn't think so.

So, I'm to buy this book because it has an interesting title, eh?

To sell me a copy, you're going to have to tell me some details about what I'm buying. Describe it to me. What is the content? What are the chapters? What are the subjects covered? Who wrote it? Why should I respect the author? Is this a historical retrospective? Is it a book of manipulation instructions? Combatives? Describe it physically. It is hardcover? Bound? How many pages? How large? Pictures... in color? Etc.

Do you have a website with a picture or two of the book and maybe with a few pages excerpted so that I can get some idea of what I'm being asked to buy?

Alexi Publications is currently constructing its own web page. As far as the book, here it goes.
The book covers an extensive amount of history from Europe to Asia. Such as recently noted concerning the Hackmans camp knife as well as many other butterfly knives from around the world from the 1700s to current. This book also covers diagrams of the different types of construction and where they originated. There are many color photos of butterfly knives from around the world as well as a few black and whites. These photos are not all massed produced knives. Quite a few of them are rare pictures of butterfly knives never seen before.Full color photo count is 70, B&W count 10. Trim size is 8 x 10 softbound, 130 pages with a bibliography of magazines articles, books, movies etc, index and glossary. Volume two and three is right behind this current title. Volume two covers more indepth information concerning the beautiful butterfly knife as far as more history, folklore and origins.
This book is not about the manipulation or use. Volume three is currently being layed out which covers the manipulation aspect covering the philippino
way as well as many others. As far as we know there are over 64 different ways to open and close the butterfly. There is a complete knife fighting system that has never been released before on paper.
The reason we posted this notice is because we originally posted a notice back in April about the release of this book but did not due to problems and we felt responsible to let the readers know of the final release.
As for the above posting I am answering the moderators questions. Naturally no one has to buy this book.We just thought you might be interested. As Far as our sales show there is a quite a bit of interest. Thank you.

I think I'm interested...I had thought the books were for techniques, and could hardly more than the three words "Go Clay's site," but felt glad they weren't.
In which languages will the books be published? English is okay but preferrablly in Japanese I'll welcome much more.

Is each book gonna come with a balisong (BM Bali-Song)?

Just like those Klutz books (juggling, hacky sack, yo-yo, etc)
