I normally check in and read the posts daily. I have for over a year. In fact, except for a few times traveling, I don't think I have missed a day. I have to say, I really love this forum. It is one of the things that I look forward to in my day.
Thank you all for letting me learn from you. And thank you, Uncle Bill, for being at the heart of it all.

Bill, what you say is true, but even while you were overseas and in the hospital, your example was still a very real and living part of the forum. Yes, you are only one of many equals. Now shut up and sit down in the seat of honor.

This is, without a doubt, a great forum because of the great members. However, Uncle Bill, you are the forum's heart and soul. You are the one who sets the tone of the forum and the one most responsible for its uniqueness. Graciously accept the praise you so highly deserve.

I second Steven. There's a proverb in Japan, samurais walk samurai road. How the road looks like depends on who walk on it, who walk on it depends on how the road was founded. This forum looks great of its forumites because the "road" is worth walking for them by howUncle founded.

I enjoy the H.I. forum a lot and have learned a lot from it as well. Where else can khukuri's, science, culture, religion, and history be discussed without a fight?
