Just fooling around today on the videos
First up is a nifty little system I put together using an old ball head from a tripod that bit the dust. I am able to interchange the same ballhead on my hiking stick and gorilla pod tripod system. I have mounting plate clip systems on both my SLR and little video camera. This allows me a lot of versatility. After playing with my hiking stick/monopod, I have to say I really like the versatility and ease of use of this system. You can buy a basic ballhead mount without tripod for about $25 - 30 and this is much cheaper than going a professional monopod route.
The second half of the video is another little review of my Brian Andrews Bitterroot. Every time I dust this thing off, I ask myself why it isn't constantly on my belt. This full size but compact blade is one of the killer knives in my collection and I have to use it more. You know what? I think I will.
Short video, placed here because its all gear-o-centric....Ella Fitzgerald provides the background music.....Notice how the way her lyrics on 'burn' corresponds to my fuzz sticky flame....That was no coincidence!
