This is what I have been able to put together on the evolution of the Vic SAK. Please add what you know, make corrections, etc.

Lanyard shackle-1902
Toothpick- 1902
Tweezers – Introduced in 1902.
Wood Saw – Introduced in 1902.
Scissors – Introduced in 1902.
Metal cross inlay on the red fibre scales-1909

Knives become available in stainless steel-1923

Cellidor scales replace the fibre scales-1937

New screwdriver with cap lifter-1942
Nail file with nail cleaner on the back of the knife-1942
New patented can opener (today used by Wenger)-1946

Separators – Nickel silver until 1951; Alox since 1951.
New screwdriver with cap lifter, wire stripper and bender -1951
Improved can opener with small screwdriver – Patented in 1951
Fish scaler with hook disgorger – Introduced in 1952.
Square Phillips screwdriver in place of the corkscrew – Introduced in 1952.
Large long nail file with nail cleaner, metal saw and file – 1952.

New reamer with cutting edge-1961
Scales with invisible rivets-1961
First Champion model-1967
Shackle (bail) officially replaced with key ring -1968 (transition period lasts into the mid 1970s)

Magnifying glass 8x lens -1973
Champion includes the magnifying glass-1973
Phillips screwdriver -1973
Small blade with pointed tip replaces clip blade -1973
Nasa orders 50 Master Craftsman for shuttle crews-1978

Pliers with wire cutters-1986.
The Champion becomes the Swiss Champ-1986 (keyrings on opposite sides, one layer wider-the pliers.)

Solid corkscrew (end of fluted model)-1991

Last year for metal tipped tweezers that were still in special handles such as horn, stag, and in special Swisschamp models-2003
