It's opening nation-wide on Dec. 17th. Anyone else looking forward to it? I've enjoyed every single one of the Hobbit movies, looking forward to this one very much. I haven't yet seen "Interstellar" but want to (although I suspect it will be a letdown). And maybe Mockingjay part 1, also Fury. After that, my yearly movie going budget will be shot.:D

I'm looking forward to it, especially after the cliffhanger at the end of the previous film. I enjoyed the desolation of smaug very much because of the dragon!
Other films I am looking forward to

Unbroken, and American sniper.

Yes, Unbroken looks interesting. It's supposed to be a true story. But I am not familiar with it. Who's the hero?

Jokes aside I am an incurable tolkien fan. I will end up watching it multiple times if previous books and movies are any indication. At this point it would have to be worse than "gigli" for me not to watch it. :)

It is based on the true story of Louis Zamperini, surviving WWII in a prison camp

My sisterinlaw asked my wife and I to babysit that weekend so her, the husband, and oldest kid could watch this movie.

Yea, I'm looking forward to this flick.

The wife and I are going to see Mockingjay this afternoon. Funny, the matinee ticket is $10.00, whereas around here I can't watch a movie on cable for much less than $8.00.

Still kicking myself for not being able to watch the last one.

Interstellar was actually good, I'd recommend it. Chris Nolan is after all a very good story teller (Batman, Memento, etc). Exodus: Gods and Kings was ''meh", just slightly above that disaster called "Noah" with Russel Crowe earlier this year.

My wife and I saw it last weekend. I've really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy. I read the books before I watched any of the films, which made them that much better for me.

Yes it is a true story. I read the book (which was amazing BTW), the story is about Louie Zamperini. It's a survival story, both on the physical level and psychological level. You would not believe what this man had to endure during WWII. If the movie is half as good as the book it should be a hit.

I read all the books before seeing the movies as well. They did a decent job with these movies which is normally not the case with book based movies IMO (e.g. Jack Reacher).

I can't wait to see the new Hobbit .and interstellar was meh it let me down . I went seen EXODUS this past Friday. It was a very good movie and so happy they called GOD by his true name God !!

I can't believe Sony pulled "The Interview"...it looks hilarious!

I'll see The Hobbit and a couple others I think...

I watched The Hobbit in 3D yesterday night and I really liked it! The first chapter was pretty lame (nothing happens in the first half of the movie and the "funny" side of the Dwarfs is irritating... especially if you compare the dialogue with those, epic, of The Lord of the Rings). But I really enjoyed the last two movies. And for us blade fanatics, there are lots of blades to see :)
