And thank the good Lord it's over.

I've spent the last week in the clutches of a fierce ice storm!!!

No power.....

No water.....

Price gouging motels.....

Staying with relatives....

Helping at the Red Cross shelter.....

With the big melt today the electric utility finally got the power back on at my house.

It feels great to be back to a more familiar routine.

Glad to hear you made it through. Things like that make you appreciate just having the essentials!

Sounds like Kentucky - at least from the press:confused:

But indeed glad this has passed for you. Living in MN this winter sure has gotten long...............

Glad you're back home Robert. For sure...that was one of the worst storms the midwest has had in recent years.

Still in the news with over 700,000 homes statewide without power.

Thanks everyone for the "warm" words.

Things are looking up now.

I was on the edge and got real lucky! Good to have you back and I hope everything gets back to normal soon!

Glad that you have your electricity back on. I was right there with you but was only out for 4 days, there are still many people without power.
