Looks like these are shipping now (product code CU2201) - I've just received my initial order from Camillus (I am now a dealer in New Zealand!) and the blades are marked "1 of 500" - so it looks like this is the first production run (with black nitride screws and clip).

And you can now get the Arclite with a belt-clip too... it's multipositional, but the belt width is fixed, and you have to be wearing a belt!

Get yours today! :)

Cheers,

Would you have a pic? The pics that were on the "new camillus Products" thread are gone. :(

Just got some in from my distributor. They are sweet! I can't believe the bang for the buck.

The new EDCs were really well received by everyone at the NZ Custom Knife show... I have to order some more!

It's amazing the number of people that can't figure out how to close a framelock! :)

cheers,

I picked up the 154CM EDC yesterday and so far mine is perfect in every way. Out of box it's one of my top two sharpest plain edged knives I've ever had...and maybe the sharpest period. The edge seems to be ground at a 15 degree angle on each side. Lockup seems perfect and action is silky smooth. It's almost invisible clipped to the pocket of my jeans.

Originally I wasn't too into the EDC, but decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did.

Got one yesterday from 1SKS. Great, great service! I ordered Monday and it arrived Wednesday, even using UPS ground.

The frame (slabs) are matte finished which I like better than highly polished stainless. But, the blade is, I guess, a stonewashed finish. Not so sure about that, though, since it's not at all even. It looks, well, "cheesey".

I guess I can do my own satin finish one day, but that'll ruin the stamping / marking on the blade.

Hopefully "stonewashed" will grow on you. It works out to be a great blade finish for a user. Hides scratches better than anything I've ever used. Definitely my "finish of choice" for production pieces!:D
