Great knife.

It has better action and function than any ZT, CRK, Lionsteel, Hinderer, Strider, Spyderco, Brous, Benchmade ect., that I own.

I think the F&F is as good, or better than any of these. It cuts very well and the edge is still screaming sharp. ZDP is still one of the finest alloys available.

The only folders I have that are on par, or better, are a few customs, most of which cost substantially more than the Kershaw.
The Ruby carries well. It has a beautiful pocket clip that works better than most of my other knives. Art that functions beautifully.

I broke out all my folders the other day and fondled them while watching football. When I got back to the Ruby, I was shocked at how sophisticated and modern the knife was compered to everything else I have. I was really surprised that the Ruby was so far ahead of almost everything else I own. I have bought several brand new designs from various manufacturers this year and none of them have come close to being as good as the Ruby.

I wish it was smaller. I wish it didn't have any graphics on it, but they aren't as garish as they look in the photos. Other than that, it is a remarkable knife.

I have an AG Russel Acies2 which is made by Kershaw. It is also an incredible knife, although not as modern, (i.e. bearing pivot) as the Ruby.

Kershaw should start making more high end stuff like this, it's better than the tactical tough stuff from ZT.

Best $400 I ever spent on a folder.
