I discovered Mr. Johnsons work by accident when I was doing some show and tell outside of the Chicago Custom Knife show. Danbo pulled a very cool medium sized skelotonized Tanto out of his bag of wonders and I was amazed at the balance. Danbo informed me that the knife was made in the mid 80s. Later that year I met Mr. Johnson at the wisconson Badger show and I purchased a knife from him and later commissioned another. Last week at Blade I was very happy to see bill exhibiting again at this show. I purchased this beauty from him and I wanted to display his craft..
The pictured knife is a medium Tanto in Green Canvas Micarta with Red liners and mirror polish bolsters. It has a hand rubbed ATS-34 Blade. I purchased this knife for $275 which I feel is a bargin for the quality and craftsmanship
