This sword is very very interesting. She is heavier than she looks, definitely a solid piece.
To begin with, the handle is very well done and has a brass bolster which is more than 1 inch long. Your first two fingers ride the brass, basically. The handguard is steel and a good size and shape.
The blade looks like its 3/8 inch at the spine.
It is sharp.
The dragon is exquisite and covers the entire right side of the blade.
She is heavy, so swinging it like a machete is going to tire you out quckly.
However, it is an excellent taijutsu weapon. (We dont swing weapons around.)
I am honored and astounded to own it.

did I mention that it has a wierd vibration that keeps your fingers closed around it, which means you can't let go of it or put it down?
