Oh this is killing me !!!!! I hope their around awhile cause there's multiple color combos I'd like to grab lol.

Yes ordered mine black with black canvas hopefully they will handshape the scales as I asked. Thanks jerry looking forward to get this

Here's a +1 on hoping they are around awhile. Would like a few, but currently all my knife funds are spoken for...

The Busse Knife Group is launching a full scale assault on our wallets! The active duty, this and the Yard has a new knife today too!! :D

To those that own a SOB, how do you find the handle during use? I don't own a knife with that much "belly" on the handle and am not sure how I'd like it.

Thanks, fellas.

Same here Adian, Looking for some Infi in 6 to 8 inch range, If the CGSOB stays for awhile will pick one up.

Nothing personal; but I will be very disappointed if they do.
I emailed because I don't care for the brick pattern, and was told (nicely and professionally) that the BG-SOBs would have that pattern, and they would not customize them.
As a result, I opted not to order

It's super easy to hand shape them yourself. I've done it a few times.

I don't know because I've never seen it in person, but I don't expect to love the brick finish. I actually emailed them about it as well. Being my first Busse, I'm hoping I like the brick finish cause I don't think I'd be comfortable sanding it down.

I like the SOB handles just the way they are. I think the brick texture is very subtle, and probably looks more pronounced in high res photos than it looks under normal lighting. I'm glad the combat grade is the original design and not any of the variants that came out later with finger grooves and such. It's a great knife!

So, what does the Combat Grade designation mean anyway?
.... generally it means the blade has a painted finish as opposed to a satin, blasted or polished finished. Therefore cheaper to produce and cheaper as a result to purchase.

Oh I see. I thought coated was the usual with Busse. I think I'm gonna like the Muddy Brown and Black Paper Micarta together.

Thanks!
