Despite the best (worst?) efforts of the USPS, the additions to my small INFI family finally showed up today.
I had ordered these on-line in early August and after a confirmation phone call to Lexi was told that they would be shipped in 5-6 weeks. That was fine with me. Then Lexi posted on my very first thread that the knives would actually ship THE NEXT DAY, and they did. Total surprise, but obviously very welcomed news.
So, I waited....... and waited....... and finally got back to Lexi after a week went by without the package seeming to move, according to USPS tracking.
Lexi jumped in with both feet from her end and I started from my end and we tried tracking down the package. Nobody knew anything, it had just disappeared.
Turns out the USPS facility in Washington put the PRIORITY MAIL package on the barge to Alaska with the Parcel Post mail. They also put it on the wrong barge and it took a leisurely trip up the inside passage, stopping at all the towns up the coast of Alaska.
Long story short, it finally ended up in Cordova this last Saturday and was forwarded to Anchorage last night. I picked it up today.
I cant say enough good things about how fast Busse shipped my knives and how hard Lexi and the crew worked to find my package and get me my knives.
Lexi, YOU ROCK!
