Well, no Cultelli, but two HR's have finally arrived!

First impressions - wow! Really fine pieces of steel.

My wife likes them as well. I'm glad she isn't really into knives, otherwise I would likely lose one. She even understood that I had to have both, not just one. That's good because it meant I didn't lose one of something else.

The magnum grip feels good, although for me it makes the knife not quite as quick in the hand as the standard scales on my old HR. I can't change my grip as quickly or easily. It is more secure in the grip though. I'll have to give one a good beating to see which I prefer. I'll probably decide:- "both!"

It fits reasonably in a spec-ops sheath I happened to have lying around. I could do with opening the kydex a little though; it's just a little too tight for comfort and will rub up the coating badly if I don't loosen it. Edited to add: I've loosened the kydex, now it fits perfectly. I'm going to order a couple more sheaths for my others now.

Let the photo's commence:

Awe man..you know I just bought one and have yet to hold it .... it will be my 1st INFI blade... thanks for the pics !

You don't need three. May I have one? You'd still have two. Arn't I smart? Great knives and pics! Thanks.

Sweet scores! Never had one with standard scales but with mags and the HR felt great with them.

Thanks JurT... It looks like a great set up and David E broke down the cost and for my setup ,I paid $57 dollar to the orignal owner for markup or something like that...anyways I scored a great deal from what everybody is posting !!!!

I love my HR (Black/Black mag). It is my number one user. Its just so light and quick. Whoever ground the edge at the shop put a really nice acute edge on it. It is a great slicer. I think we need more 3/16" knives. Those Sage Razors are hot. They are the best color combo IMO.

My EU-17 regular is biding for the top user position though.

Nice Haul, now I am not regretting not going for one of the sage w/mags. 'cos "No Regrets!"

Fixed it for ya ;)

Thanks for the comments people. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

I was far too restrained in my first post about these knives (sterotypical British trait). They are absolutely gorgeous. A real cross-over between works of art and top-quality function. I really think they are pretty close to perfect. For me, anyway.

The added weight of the mags on these make them feel like they will chop better than my standard. It's alternating between sleet and rain here at the moment, and I've got flu, so I'm not going outside to find out for sure.

The HR is really pushing for 'my favourite Busse'; trying to knock the HHFSH off its top spot. It's just so usable!

I can see both of these ending up users. Just because they need it so much. I'll have to match the handles with whatever I'm wearing that day. That's what my wife said, anyway.

Factory-fresh infi - I love it!

Beautiful gathering of Hell Razors. I agree, great knife. Wish I had more than one.:(

nevermind, it's their survival sheath!?
so how does one make their sheaths fit an ASH1?

yes it is a spec-ops sheath, fit not sure as of yet...waiting on USPS...pic from owner to new owner (me) but as soon as I have it in hand I will let you know about the fit..

Just wanted to say that the Spec-Ops sheath fits perfectly now. I just softened the kydex a little and did some minimal remoulding. The sheath originally had a Nexus Caio in it, so it might have been moulded to that. Don't know if a stock liner would fit right, I guess it might, but it's certainly easy to make it fit.

I was a bit annoyed at damaging the heads of the screws that hold the kydex liner in place. It required a lot of force to get them unscrewed, because someone had threadlocked them! Still, nothing that a touch up with some blacking won't cure.
