The INFI Wait...

Well, here we are. Many of us have ordered our new toys and now there is nothing to do but wait. Of course, everyone's waiting experience is different.
Some of us are INFI-holics. This current order and wait period is just one of many. Ho hum...

Some of us have never owned a Busse blade. This particular wait will be excruciating because it's possible that you will get the credit card bill for your new knife before you receive the knife itself and your better half (if you've told her/him) likely thinks that you've lost your mind paying that much for something you'll probably lose or break in a week and a half... You will likely experience second thoughts... after all, you have no idea what the credit card company's money just bought and it will seem expensive until you can take your new Busse out for some abuse.

And then, there are those like myself. Those who have owned a Busse or two for quite a while. But, our blades are soooo old that they are not made of INFI. In fact they may not even be made of A2... We (the miserly faithful) have decided to get back on the horse and give Jerry some more of our money for a knife or two that is made of a steel that everyone claims to outperform the already indestructable, veteran Busses of old. Our better halves can't believe we are paying this much for something we already own... and are having a field day giving us grief about it. Especially over a long weekend.

Ultimately, though, we are all in the same boat. There is really nothing left to do but have a beer and wait....

Thanks Jerry!

The wait is excruciating, but once you get that INFI in your hands you realize it was well worth it. Besides that any wait for INFI is soon forgotten when out destroying a tank with your new toy ;):D

Well said....another round of drinks on me!!! :) Whil the wait seems terrible, it all builds up very nicely to that wonderful day when the BTOJ (we bow to you brown soldiers) brings a reward for waiting. Keep reminding the people nagging you, they won't get to play with if if they don't shut up :D

Every week I'm forced to wait another piece of INFI must run the gauntlet at my house.

I started early and my Killer B is in serious need of assistance.

(Where's that EVIL grin when you need it...)

:D (Just imagine he's evil.)

Jerry, I hope you read this and make my wait as short as possible...

The trick is to order one every couple weeks!! Then when they
start rolling in, the wait is easier.:D ;)

I think Jerry should come out with some kind of chewing
gum like smokers use to stave off their nicotine cravings.
Maybe he could call it Infirete instead of Nicorete.:D

As the wait continues, I know that I am one step closer. How does one know that you ask. I saw it on my bank statement! Now that it has been charged, it can't be long now!

Or...

Can it......:D
