The I's have it
Here are my thoughts, if Customs is stopping the shipments of any said knives or swords because they are classed as weapons for whatever reason, then just have the suppliers make glass or acrylic sealed cases that hang like art, simple! Have the shipping invoice read sold as display only as artwork. for it is trully an art form, thus as a display only in a sealed container so if the end buyer wishes to remove this said product from its display case, the shipper holds no said laws for him, you take the risk.
Canadian Laws shows nothing about this form of artwork for display only. I believe it couldn't be stopped. I am not a lawyer, however I do think this is another way to look at it.
Should our Country or any Country stop us from enjoying our art, perhaps I should apply for a government grant to start The New Knife Art of Canada.
