A friend located a Kelly Perfect jersey pattern for me , neat axe in good shape. Can't wait to use it and see if they live up to the hype. He also found a Warren Sager jersey pattern in good condition. I couldn't get him to part with the Warren. Can anyone tell me if it is rare / unusual or worth anything as a collectible?
I don't believe he will sell it, just ball park value. I kinda wish he would, as he could use the money more than another axe.

I've never seen a Sager Jersey before, except in this old catalog picture (and in my dreams...)

Has anyone come across them for sale on auction sites, etc.?
 
Looks like I'm not going to get an idea of what the Sager is worth. I know....worth whatever someone will pay for it. I suspect they were re-hung at the same time and never used again. The handles are exactly alike and still in varnish with glue residue in the same place. I'll tell my friend he found a axe that stumped the experts lol.

Nice looking axes! They'll look much better if you re-hang them down to the shoulder of the haft though, IMO. That Sager is an especially nice find. You'll have to keep working on your buddy to see if you can pry it away from him. It is sweet.
 
SWEEEET axes. Sager single bits are hard to come by. I've never seen a Sager Jersey before.
