Today was a very good day. Spring-like weather in MI, an awesome trail run with my wife, and this little beauty was waiting for me when I got home.

I had always meant to pick one of these up, but never got around to placing an order. I was always attracted to the simple, practical pattern and the handle to blade ratio looked just about perfect. When I saw that John had one left from his New Year's Sale it was my moment to make an (almost) immediate gratification purchase.

I was not disappointed. Every thought that I had from looking at photos and reading other's comments was confirmed. This is a sweet little knife!

And my particular copy is damn near perfect! Super nice grinds with a very nicely finished edge, great grain and texture to the micarta scales and perfectly uniform handle shaping.

This one will make a great back pocket blade for hiking and EDC. Kudos to John for designing this awesome little pattern!

Glad you like it. That is the only straight back one I've made, I like the look of it .
Glad you are having good weather, it's snowing like crazy here!
