The kamis have asked if I could bring some pictures of the people who buy the knives they make so I'm asking you for a snapshot of yourself -- and family, too, if possible. It doesn't have to be anything fancy at all. Any picture will do. Please print your name and names of family on the back.

Because I've lived in Nepal and have a good understanding of the people I know without a doubt that the kamis will love and treasure these photos. My guess is they will make a billboard in the shop and stick all the photos on it. Family and friends will come by to look at "Our American friends who buy our knives."

A snapshot will mean more to the kamis than a $100 bill so if you can send me one we would all appreciate it.

Uncle Bill:

Be sure to search the archives and print a copy of the picture of Howard Wallace and his family all holding knives. I'm sure the folks in Nepal would enjoy it.

Is sending a digital image OK, or would you prefer a "regular" photograph?

You got it uncle Bill. I will get a few of my son and I and maybe my Family. Got to Feb.02-00 am I correct?

Hmm ... isn't Vampire Gerbil brandishing a khukuri in some of those pictures? I don't know if we want to show the kamis those pictures.... LOL! They might never send another knife to America again!

Good point, Cougar. Although we could try to pass off the VG pix as that of a desperate young maiden performing during a fertility rite.

We went to Barb's company X-mas dinner today and then I caugt this when we got home.
There will be pix of both of us with our Khukuri's.The pix will be headed your way soon.

They are of me and Barb as dressed up as we get unless we am goin to Powwow. Then I have my Cherokee Ribbon Shirt on.That's absolutely as Dressed Up as I get!
I don't do coats and ties anymore which is why I didn't post in the tie clip thread.Maybe I ought to read it again. There's no tellin whut you guys are up to in there.hehehe

People look at me funny as it is when they see an old fart with long braids and earings. When I don a Ribbon Shirt they really look at me funny.Of course it is almost a calico equivilant to VG's nighty, but you would think they never saw a real Indin before.

If you mix milk of magnesia with vodka and orange juice do you get a phillips screwdriver?

Khukuri FAQ

I tried to get something going along these lines a couple months ago. Howard sent me a picture of his family, and some other people expressed interest, but that was about it.

Jeff, sorry I didn't get you those pix of my son and I. He is always on the go these days. Now that he's grown up it's harder to keep track of him. He owns several H.I. khukuri's, and I wanted him in the photo's. The pictures I have now are a bit old and I have to take new ones.

Namaste Uncle.

Yes, you will have photos. I will take them with my digital camera and email to you soon.

I will be holding two of my knives
