Fun fact, Kwaiken is often pronounced exactly as it is spelled by North American speakers, but it's actually a Japanese word transcribed in the Latin alphabet. The w would be silent if we want to be faithful to the Japanese word, and the "ai" is pronounced as "eye" but brief, high and tight.

I’ve just gotten used to using original pronunciations. It’s not about sounding fancy, just trying to keep the term accurate.

A lot of the languages in Asia one word has multiple meanings differentially by tone and.pronouncement and even facial expressions all play a part.in.their language..... tough to learn and.tougher to train ones tongue to make the necessary sounds.......

Pretty interesting actually....👌
