Hello,

I'm looking for a new knife, but I don't know wich to buy.

I want a knife wich holds the edge really well and is razor sharp out of the box!
Does anybody has some advise for me!

The options are:
Kershaw Black Blur - 1670 BLK
or the
Kershaw S30V Blur - 1670S30V

Greetings!

If edge retention is your primary qualifier, the S30V Blur would be your best bet. The 1670BLK (the all black Blur) will have either 13C26 or 14C28N Sandvik steel. Both Sandvik steels are more than capable, but S30V will win out in regards to edge retention.

I recieved a NIB $30V Blur in a trade. Nice but the "stonewash" finish was weak. 14c26 has excellent edge characteristics. If $ is an issue you can do no wrong going with the black Blur.:)
