The Kershaw Cryo 2

They are at Cabelas right now for almost $60. More than I will ever pay for a Chinese knife.
 
Don't knock that Chinese knife to bad. I have been using it for a few days now and its pretty good. Seems like a solid build and good value for money even at $60, at $40 its a bargain. I think this one is worth picking up as an EDC for sure
 
$60...... For $25 more you can get an 0350 blem that will kick it's ass in every single way. I'll pass until they're under $40, and even then that's still too close to better US made Kershaws.

I really hope they don't turn into Gerber.
 
For $60 I want better blade steel and an handle that's not so damn slick. The style of the RAT-1 may not look as cool and trendy, but IMO, its a better knife for 1/2 the price.
 
This is definitely one of those knives that becomes much more attractive the lower the price gets. At $32 shipped (I'm making that up) its killer, and at $59 is dead in the water.

I preordered from BHQ - they were $37.50 each.

I think $35 retail is a steal. It really is a great knife for the money.

On the other hand - $50 is about as much as I would pay for it.
 
I use the 60% rule. Most knives seem to go for about 60% of the msrp. That would put the Cryo II at $35.97. Anything in that vicinity would be a decent price. Anything less than that is a great price. :thumbup:
