Well Gents it happened. After my first post concerning a Kershaw Blur purchase many said one Kershaw won’t be enough. Well you were right. Got my Blur yesterday from Amazon and went to Wally today and purchased a Leek in bright steel finish.

Trying to scratch that Old Kershaw Itch.

Oldbriar this is just the beginning you are really in trouble now. You had better try to find a support group quick or you will soon be up to a knife a week every week and then the trouble really starts.:D Seriously though congratulations on some great knives.
 
What ever you do, DO NOT GET a R.A.M. Just say "no." This is your brain, this is your brain on a 1910. Back away from the knife counter. In fact, pretend I never brought it up. There is no R.A.M. Then you will see it is not the R.A.M. that beckons, it is only yourself.

I have to agree with riffraff there is no Ram. Don't look at the Rams don't think about RAMs don't think about the numbers 1910. don't even think of the numbers 19 and 10 or 10 and 19 or even 1's, 9's or zeros . If you were to ever get one of those knives you are not supposed to be thinking about you, would be so impressed with this nonexistent knife that your brain would just melt into a little puddle in the floor. Listen to us we are trying to save your pockets from always having a Ram in it.:D:D
 
Go back to Wally World and get yourself an OD-1 for $39.95. It is a great knife.

Welcome to "Kershaws Anonymous". ;)

The S30V Blur is on my "list". :cool: Been meaning to get the all black Leek too.

Check out the OD-1. This is my fav EDC right now and a very high value knife. Great design and has features found in more expensive knives like the framelock with the lock bar stop (aka Hinderer Lock Bar Stabilizer), and the phosphor bronze bushings.

Another Kersahw you should check out is the Lahar. Yet another "a lot of knife for the money". Big, beefy and solid VG-10 blade with G-10 scales.
 
I only carry and use 5" ish or larger folders, many of those are Kershaws.
That being said, I DO have and use a RAM! Performs like a much larger folder, carries light and is plain cool with its sliding lock and quick opening. Just gotta get one.

PS- I just ordered a ZT0205, you`ll find yourself doing the same very soon.

Very nice to hear that Oldbriar:thumbup: It doesn't look like you'll be satisfied anytime soon, so you might want to start saving aluminum cans or something. You'll need some supplemental cash really soon!!:D

If you open and close a RAM, you're bound to buy it. :thumbup:
 
I know what you mean. I got the skyline I think the OD-1 is next. I wish they made a RAM. That would be cool.
 
The Leek and Blurs are Kershaw staples fore sure. I can highly recomend the Skyline and OD-1. Since they showed up at Wallie World you really have no excuse not to indulge.
 
Ok everyone repeat after me. There is no RAM, There is no RAM, Hawk locks only exisit in my mind. It is all just a dream. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
 
I got bitten by the Kershaw bug only a little over a month ago and have already acquired 2 (Storm II and Mini Mojo)... Welcome to the club! :thumbup:

Oh, and I'll pass this little piece of advice on: don't look at the pictures!

Bought a Leek With a custom Grateful Dead Skull/Crossbones checker pattern. Very sexy knife.
