Oh yes. Dad is going to be popular tonight.

Your a good father! Getting my oldest bot one for his Birthday, I'll hold it for him in my 7 sheath...he's only turning 8 but been shooting 22's and packing a knife for a couple years now.

Very cool
I remember my first knife, Victorinox Mechanic.
Still carry it every day, I love that blade.
Anyway, you are going to be a very popular father. Get them out to the woods!

i remember my first knife. pried it out of the asshole's hand and took it from him. parents never knew.

my first boyscout knife of serious note was a Case with aluminum scales, that could never be sharpened after a couple years.

a cheap SAK copy ... and mcshitty knives for a while.

then a Machax. ah, spoiled :)

My first knife was a knock off POS SAK. Your kids are very lucky.

The remoras are their third :). The $1 SAK knockoffs and $1 ultra-serrated folders that Wife made them buy for themselves were #1 and #2. Summer's here, we're getting out and about, and I wanted to get them tools they could use for reals.

That's cool man. I gotta start saving some of my contest knives for my boys. If I keep giving them away I'll have to buy them all over again later. Note to self.

I'm guessing there's a story behind that first sentence....and perhaps some therapy too. ;)

My first knife was a very nostalgic buck folder with the wooden handles. That was quickly replaced by the hollow handled POS survival knie I got whcih I'm pretty sure wouldn't save shit. I equate that shitty knife to Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife.

I loved getting knives when I was younger. I was surprised a few times with new knives.

Very cool. Good little knife for kids. Remember though ... "Gateway Knife" (LOL)

My first was a Boy Scout SAK. Had the fork and spoon. Thought it was soooooo cool. (hey ... I was 8) :)

Good Dad. :D

Might I suggest a Plastidip of the handles, they tend to be a little sharp for little hands. I would up doing it to one I got for my daughter, but she didn't use it much, because it hurt her hand. I would up giving it to my nephew.

Great little blades, and talk about an edge, wow, those things can get atom splitting sharp.

Good Dad.:D

Boy Scout camp, someone who couldn't quite be trusted to not carve shit on my shit. Cutty little bastid ;>

Great call on plastidip. They're hot to wrap them so we'll give that a shot first. The remoras are surprisingly weighty and damn yes, they are sharp as sin.
