Looks like a good time, thanks for sharing. The 9 is just a hell of a blade, isn't it.

Thank you Warrior, years later and Ive yet to decipher the mysteries of these forums. Love that knife, Ive busted up plenty of frozen fire wood with never a chip or ding to speak of. Its kinda like my boreal parang.

No problem. On your Photobucket page, the "IMG code" is the one you want to copy and paste.

Hey Hardtripper......

Nice pix and nice words !!!......Thanks !!!.....if your bag kept you warm, what kind is it ?.....It looks damned chilly.....

Hey thanks for chiming in Ethan, you're welcome and thank you for this awesome knife. That was an interesting night because we fell asleep with the snow you see there and woke up with about 6 inches of snow on the tarp! Probably went down to -5 Celsius that night, which is balmy and comfortable 'round these parts. You may know of a store up here called Mountain Equipment Coop or MEC, my sleeping bag is their house brand the Raven -12.

Thanks.....I only know the name........-5 C can be a damn chilly overnight.....brrrrrrrr......
