Some of you may remember the Case CV Peanut Butter Canoe from the coffee thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1216721

Well, I love great jigged bone.... and that wasn't cutting it. I could have sent it back to Case, but short of Arizonaranchman's 6375, I'm just not a big fan of Case's Amber Bone covers.

I asked Mr. Glennbad if he could address the Canoe, and he obliged.

Love the bone on it. I really need to start using a real camera and put this knife to work!

Awesome work, as usual; great job, Glenn! Turned it into a piece that anyone would be proud to have in a pocket!

As my drill sergeant used to say, much gooder. I really like that bone, and the shield is phenomenal. I have to go out and find an ugly knife to buy so that Glenn can work his magic on it. :p

Now that's got brass!

Confession: I don't really understand that expression, but I love the deep contours and deep red of the new covers. Outstanding!

Nice looking custom Canoe. Not the first time I've seen that peanut-butter look on Case Amber Bone knives. I have a technique to remedy that which restores them largely to what they should have looked like in the first place, using several colors of Sharpie permanent marker, which the bone will absorb and it becomes permanent. Sort of a spot dye job.
