Well, I EDC my ZT 0560 everyday and use it religiously. It's my favorite knife hands down. I love it and I'm pretty sure it likes me pretty well by now as well lol. I love Rick Hinderer's designs and have owned a few. Well I've been looking around and this knife isn't designed by Hinderer but it is a knife made in his style. The Inron MY803 is a China made knife with 9cr13mov steel, a brushed steel frame lock, a flipper, and your choice in color G-10(Black, Tan, or Orange).
I never thought i would enjoy a $20 knife this much. It is similar in style and size to the Hinderer XM-24. Of course it's not the quality of a Hinderer but it is great quality with excellent fit and finish. The G-10 lays perfectly on the liner. The action is smooth and wonderful, opening easily with the flipper or the thumb studs. The lock bar is completely on the tang when locked open and sits perfectly at 50%. The blade comes scary sharp right out of the box, shaves hair, slices paper easily, and I have no doubt it will hold up to hard use. It has a nice pocket clip that is set up for right hand tip up carry. The knife has very nice jimping all over to insure a nice grip.
If you want a Hinderer and can't afford it, but want a nice knife with the same style(Not near the same quality but still decent quality) for around $20, you can't go wrong with the Inron. This is the best quality $20 knife I have owned and I now want to pick up a couple more in the Colors that I don't have.
I recommend this knife to anyone. It'd be a great work knife for those of you who don't want to use your expensive knives for work jobs, or it's great for someone that can't afford more expensive knives but wants something of decent quality.
I really love this knife, I was surprised at the quality and fit and finish. I can't believe a $20 knife kicked the ZT 0560 out of my pocket. Well, at least until I get the custom scales for my 0560 lol.
For $20, you should pick one up and give it a try.
Thanks for reading!
Thanks,
Jessie
