Well, I EDC my ZT 0560 everyday and use it religiously. It's my favorite knife hands down. I love it and I'm pretty sure it likes me pretty well by now as well lol. I love Rick Hinderer's designs and have owned a few. Well I've been looking around and this knife isn't designed by Hinderer but it is a knife made in his style. The Inron MY803 is a China made knife with 9cr13mov steel, a brushed steel frame lock, a flipper, and your choice in color G-10(Black, Tan, or Orange).
I never thought i would enjoy a $20 knife this much. It is similar in style and size to the Hinderer XM-24. Of course it's not the quality of a Hinderer but it is great quality with excellent fit and finish. The G-10 lays perfectly on the liner. The action is smooth and wonderful, opening easily with the flipper or the thumb studs. The lock bar is completely on the tang when locked open and sits perfectly at 50%. The blade comes scary sharp right out of the box, shaves hair, slices paper easily, and I have no doubt it will hold up to hard use. It has a nice pocket clip that is set up for right hand tip up carry. The knife has very nice jimping all over to insure a nice grip.
If you want a Hinderer and can't afford it, but want a nice knife with the same style(Not near the same quality but still decent quality) for around $20, you can't go wrong with the Inron. This is the best quality $20 knife I have owned and I now want to pick up a couple more in the Colors that I don't have.

I recommend this knife to anyone. It'd be a great work knife for those of you who don't want to use your expensive knives for work jobs, or it's great for someone that can't afford more expensive knives but wants something of decent quality.

I really love this knife, I was surprised at the quality and fit and finish. I can't believe a $20 knife kicked the ZT 0560 out of my pocket. Well, at least until I get the custom scales for my 0560 lol.

For $20, you should pick one up and give it a try.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks,
Jessie

I like it, but not sure about the half-choil. Is it too small to use the choil? Also, I try to stay away from knives that are copies. I don't mind the original knives Chinese companies make, but this is a bit much for me. Looks cool, though.

The choil is actually usable. Though I'm a little scared to do it with my large hands. I've gotten used to not using the choil as the 0560 doesn't really have one.

I went the opposite direction. I bought an Umnumzaan lefty and it kicked the 560 out. I still carry the 560 at work, but for around the house and hanging out, the 'zaan packs a lot of blade in it's handle.

I'm curious, do you think the novelty will wear off sooner or later?

I want to get a CRK one day, but I'm also happy with what I have.
The novelty of the Umnum or the novelty of the Inron?
The Umnum, I'm not sure. I know a lot of people carry their Sebenzas and such, but there are also a lot of people that have them and use their other knives more.
The Inron? I'm sure it will. But for now, it's awesome and I love it. Lol.

It is called a

RIP-OFF!!!

 Made in friggin CHINA! You're supporting conterfeiters/conterfeiting by buying it! $20 may not seem like much, but it adds up when everyone thinks the same way you appear to. In the long run, it only goes to hurt the REAL makers here in the USA like Rick. :barf:

This knife is NOT a blatant rip off of hinderer.
There are some out there, but this knife is not one.
There are a ton of china made knives that have the same style as other knives. Then there are the ones that are actually ripped off of Hinderer, Strider, and CRK designs.

This one is styled like an XM, it is NOT the same exact blade length, it is NOT advertised as a hinderer or hinderer design. It is NOT made to be a rip off.

Is this really that hard to understand?

Whatever helps you sleep at night dear. It's not an original design, and looks plenty like a Hinderer, therefore it is still a

RIP-OFF!!!
