those pretty wrapped presents this year?

The Holiday Season is among us once again and the decision must be made as to what knife you will use to cut open those pretty wrapped packages :)

Me, alternating my Strider Tanto SnG and My Crawford KFF this year!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS ONE & ALL !

How about a precise guthook knife. You wouldn't want to damage that nice sweater inside your aunt got you.

First I open my Greco Grifon's package with my Greco dangler then continue on with the brand new Greco:D

I will use my Gerber Shorty. This knife lives in my kitchen drawer with assorted junk. It has a 4" fixed blade with a flat grind. It has a molded aluminum handle. I don't know what type of steel. This is my favorite knife for general use like cutting garden hose, opening packages, cutting up cardboard boxes, etc. I miss Gerber's older more simple products. I think this knife has been out of production for at least 10 years. Merry Christmas everyone!

William Henry P10 Pearl handled Lancet.

If I receive it in time, I'll use my Ontario/Bagwell Hell's Belle to open presents with...IF I receive any presents :D. If it doesn't arrive on time, it'll be the Spyderco G-10 Police model that Allan Treat (ATE) sent to me as a gift.

Either my Benchmade 31 or my Kershaw/Ken Onion Chive. Or even my Benchmade 35-SPL if it comes in time.

Chuck, what's a 31-SPL?

I'd like to see (or get!) the presents you need to open with a battle-rat!

For me, my kershaw rainbow leek -- the knife should go well with the wrapping paper!

I think I'll use my old Benchmark SOS. It's kind of a weird and useless item and I feel a little bit sad for it.

I will be opening my gifts with my brand new CRK LH Mnandi with ironwood inlays. A gitf to myself this year. :D

I am visiting my parents outside the US so I had to choose my knives carefully. For small items (and EDC) I have my Benchmade 705. For big items and industrial-strength plastic packaged items (such as batteries) I have my Chris Reeve Project II :D. Merry Christmas and happy holidays everybody.
