First I open my Greco Grifon's package with my Greco dangler then continue on with the brand new Greco

I will use my Gerber Shorty. This knife lives in my kitchen drawer with assorted junk. It has a 4" fixed blade with a flat grind. It has a molded aluminum handle. I don't know what type of steel. This is my favorite knife for general use like cutting garden hose, opening packages, cutting up cardboard boxes, etc. I miss Gerber's older more simple products. I think this knife has been out of production for at least 10 years. Merry Christmas everyone!

I am visiting my parents outside the US so I had to choose my knives carefully. For small items (and EDC) I have my Benchmade 705. For big items and industrial-strength plastic packaged items (such as batteries) I have my Chris Reeve Project II . Merry Christmas and happy holidays everybody.
