I would like to join with the Board of Directors and other members of The Knifemakers Guild in congratulating the following for successfully presenting knives, and meeting the other requirements to obtain their Probationary Membership in the Guild. These are the 08 probationary members.

They are in the first photo from left to right: Jason Rabuck, Robert Flynt, Larry Hostetler, Jerry D. Partridge, and Lonnie L. Jones. Not pictured is Riccardo Mainolfi.

We would also like to congratulate the following members upon attaining their Voting Status in The Knifemakers Guild. In order to demonstrate that they meet the standards of Voting Membership in The Knifemakers Guild, these members have had their knives judged on at least three different occasions over at least a three year period, presented materials indicating an on going knife making business and been questioned about their knife making techniques and skills as well as their marketing and business practices. These are the members of The Knifemakers Guild that earned Voting Membership in the year 2008. Those in the photo on the back row from left to right are: Kenneth Coats, Keith Johnson, Harry Mathews, and Edward Wallace. On the front row from left to right are: Ed Baumgardner, Clifford W. O'Dell, and Zack Whitson. Not pictured are Dawayne Batten, Ernie Grospitch, and Kenneth King.

Wow, I just mis read that and it said "Larry Flynt". Congrats to the new members.

Congrats to all of you, recognition well deserved.
I count myself fortunate to own three knives by two of these makers.
