I have not been around much of late
Work and more work
Besides my day job I have been doing the nutrition in archery thing in a big way and I'm proud to say that I am working with the top professional and Olympic archers out there so I'm stoked
The kid thing, which I try to make a huge priority has been really keeping us busy.
At least three games a weekend, and getting our oldest daughter settled in at college lets just say time has been a fleeting thing.
Add in the upcoming bow season ...... I gotta practice
and a strange fascination for a KTM 690 I have not had much time here.
Well I'm happy to say that Jason has done it
Rob is awaiting his, which is getting handled right now
Dave Ellis and David S blades are forged and ground
Joss's is finished
So he is in the home stretch of what turned out to be a very difficult project.
Those that received these incredible blades will always have something very special and I can bet it will be awhile before Jason plays with Khukuri's again
In the next few weeks they should all be delivered and I must say I'm glad that this one is over
So.................. We can start the next project
The next project will hopefully not be as time consuming as this one, but just as incredible.
It is our goal with these projects to produce the classic edged weapons of the world with design input from myself mixed with Jason's incredible mastery of steel to produce blades legends are made of.
The Knight fighting Bowie and the Khukuri are two perfect examples
Anyone that has experienced these blades knows to find better performing cutlery from any time period would be hard to do.
As soon as all the Khuks are out I will announce the next project.
It will be the Dark Knight Fighting Tomahawk and I can assure you it will be a classic Hawk with very well thought out features.
I have an extensive Hawk collection and have trained with hawks for years so we have taken the best features from many different Hawks and will be making a classic Hawk that will do it all
I will leave you with Coops wonderful pic of the Raj Khukuri with P Long leather
I hope the lucky owner does not mind
