This is my first post on this forum or any international forum fore that mater. :D I´m a Swedish autodidact amateur knife maker whit half a dozen “good” knifes under my belt (two that was ok an one lemon). I prefer hand tools over power tools because my workshop is pretty much a stool in the yard. I finished my first knife about a year before registering here.

Here are some pictures and links to the photo documentation of the making of the knife above. The text is in Swedish but i think the images speak fore them self most of the time.

My first knife. A Seved Bushqueen carbon steel blade whit a birch/beech laminate handle.

My blade and handle. A ARNE tool steel knife whit a home stabilized birch handle and hardwood spacer an walnut pins. Bevel made by hand whit a file. This one was stropped until it cut a hanging straw of hair.

Some very nice work! I have always admired that style of knife, very simple, elegant shape. You have inspired me to make one! Thank you for sharing your images.
