I see some random threads asking "what knife was that in the (movie/TV show/news)" from time to time. I don't know if this comes up enough to make a good running thread, but feel free to chime in with random observations or questions here. It would be fun to discuss the latest sighting, help ID a blade glimpse, or just...whatever.
So my question is: I was watching a new movie called Chef last night. They stop by Aaron Franklin's famous BBQ joint in Austin in one scene. As they sit down to chow down on some amazing looking brisket, Aaron pulls out a pocket knife to do the slicing. Looks like he folds it (still greasy) when done. Then the main character uses it again. But none of the scenes give a real clear view of the whole knife. I thought I had it ID'd, but then some of the characteristics threw me off. Anyone know what it was??
