I actually ordered the little one, and glad I did. Just ordering a knife on Dan's site tought me a considerable amount about knifemaking. Its a K2.5 Karda. A kinda mix between a K2 and a a K3. Dan did it perfectly. THe handle is sandblasted Wenge. Perfect little edc knife. I made the sheath. (pics at bottom)

Next is the Koster Smooth WSK that I recently sold. Tore my heart out to do it, but I needed a KMG. The knife sold in minutes. It was a beauty, in cocobolo. Bottom one!

And finally, I recently handled two of Dan's Ramanon Nessmuks in a passaround. These knives were a pleasure to cut with too. With their wide grind they really did perform as a Nessmuk should.

Dan's been a generous teacher and knifemaking rolemodel too. I'm very excited about his forum. And I get to check out his work at Blade again this year too!!!!!

some koster WSKs left and right (which should look familar):

dan also made me a nice custom kydex sheath for the HI kerambit

i got to play with and test the top item here as part of a passaround. VERY nice knife, M1 iirc, and sweet as anything (gratuitous nessmuk shot):

(the middle two are custom one offs, and the bottom guy is a discontinued BRKT)

oh, and hey, he made more nessies as pass-arounds... gen2 prototypes. i managed to buy one, the bottom model. just showed up today. my my my, it's sweet. O1, thickish, TOUGH. you'd never know someone put these through the ringer. sharp:
