The "Krom Bowie".

One of these days, I would like a special order like this, made by Himalayan Imports. I have called it the "Krom Bowie".

Yes Beoram. I work the picture like Pendentive. But I add some "steel texture" inside the form.

Looks like a shortened UBE.

Other than what appears to be a hardened(?), sharpened spine, that looks like a slightly straightened UBE without the fuller.

I have a fairly thin one of those (18", 26-28 oz) made by Bura, and it's a wonderful knife.

Order a UBE in the lighter weights, and I think you'll be pretty close to what you want except for the second real or false edge. Maybe you can order a UBE with the second edge.

Yeah, save the misery and get an UBE.

Like "Canada Dry", it's looks like an UBE but it's not an UBE! I have an UBE, and its blade is much more curved than this knife that I call "Bowie". Please, have a look at my update :

You will see that the "Krom Bowie" has a blade much more rectilinear than an UBE.

It will take time (and I have the time!), but if one day I do and send to you a model in steel for the blade and horn or wood for the handle (may be a slab handle attached with two or more rivets : Does a such special order would set a problem fo Himalayan Imports?
I can contribute to save the misery -and get a nice knife- both with an UBE or a special order. No?

Maybe just tell the kamis to make a sirupati or kumar kobra version of the UBE.
