"The Kukri" by John Powell

They have a "wayback machine" now? Amazing!

If you wait long enough do all the pictures finally show up? I clicked the impatienet button after about half an hour and about half the pictures were missing.

Thank you.

A bunch of the photos weren't loading for me, either.

Many photos from John Powells collection were loaded into the khukuri FAQ. I'm on a phone now so not easy to find and link them but a little poking around should turn them up.

Howard, in John Powell's e-book that I first saw years ago (2004?), there was a picture of a khuk labeled as being from Afghanistan. I found the text, but the picture is gone. A piece I THINK is similar has appeared in the last couple of days on BF (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/983326-Afghanistan-knife?p=11191731#post11191731) with a story that it is from Afghanistan, but many persons are posting that it must be a fake. Any hope of recovering John's picture ?

Ed: Is this it (top of p. 3 of thread)? http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/983326-Afghanistan-knife/page3

Thomas, you may be able to figure out links from the wayback machine or the FAQ links Steve gave.
